BIOGRAPHY

Hello guys,

My name is Magno Lopes, known in capoeira as Master Petti, 39 years old, from Salvador-Bahia-Brasil and I feel more comfortable telling this story through an observant eye.

The story between Magno and Petti is largely a function of dreams, motivation, overcoming obstacles and success.
Petti is a simple boy from the periphery of Salvador who has always worked since he was a little child with his mother at the kiosk on the beach of Boa Viagem.

He started training capoeira when he was 14 years old in 1998 in Salvador at the Cultural Association of Sport Clips Academia with Master Jorge Satélite.

He always likes training and also teach Capoeira. He has been teaching Capoeira to children, adolescents, youth, adults and elderly in some projects in Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Finland. Petti travel around the world with Capoeira and where he often he talk´s about the health benefits of Capoeira.

Currently he´s studying to be a Personal trainer at Nordic Health Academy.

In 2010, Master Jorge Satélite graduated him as a Capoeira teacher and in 2022 as a Capoeira Master.

During his professional life in Capoeira he organized many events, folk show and Capoeira workshop as well. In November, 2023 was de 2nd international Woman Capoeira Meeting (Helinä Rautavaara in Memoriam), held by the Suomen Capoeiraliitto.
He is the first athlete to represents Finland in the Capoeira Competition. On January 2021 he won in 1st place in Budapest-Hungary Capoeira competition and in 2022 he was 2nd place in Zakopane-Poland at Tatra Capoeira competition.

Recently he obtained he won a belt in 1st place at Tallinn - Estonia Cup Competition.

He obtained the title of International Capoeira Referee by the World Capoeira Federation, is CEO of Clips Academia Europa and President of the Finnish Capoeira Federation - SCL.

His dream is to promote Capoeira as a source of health for all target groups, as he believes that we can do business in life, but at the same time be warm, supportive, motivating and helpful to society where we are all together, seeking the best path to the happiness.
